This month only, when you have a treatment with XEOMIN brand Botox, you will receive a pin card for a *$50 prepaid Visa gift-card toward your next treatment!!!

What is Xeomin?

XEOMIN (incobotulinumtoxinA) for injection, for intramuscular use, is a prescription medication used to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines), on the forehead, and around the eyes (crows feet) in adults.

How Does Xeomin Work?

When you squint or frown, the muscles between your brows contract, causing the skin to furrow and fold. Over time, as your skin ages and loses some of its elasticity, these repeated contractions can cause persistent frown lines.

The active ingredient in XEOMIN (botulinum toxin type A) acts on nerve endings in muscles to prevent muscle fibers from contracting. By reducing these contractions, XEOMIN can temporarily reduce the lines on your forehead between you brows.

What Can I Expect During Treatment?

You will first be asked to complete a brief New Client/Medical History form. We will then have a consultation, where we will assess and evaluate your facial anatomy and discuss expected outcomes and possible side effects. You will then be given an Informed Consent where you will be asked to read over and sign. Next, we will take "Before" photograph's for our reference only. We will then map out with an eyeliner pencil, the desired area's of treatment. The actual treatment/administration of XEOMIN only takes a few minutes. A small, thin needle, (similar to that of a tuberculosis test) is inserted very superficially and a small amount of XEOMIN is injected into each site. No anesthesia is required; however, we do offer a topical anesthetic at no additional charge, if requested. We schedule a 2 week follow-up appointment to assess the results of your treatment and make any dose adjustments if needed.

When Can I Expect to See Results?

In clinical trials, some clients observed visible smoothing as early as 3-4 days after injection. Most results occur between 5-7 days, and optimal results at 2 weeks. The typical duration of effect is up to 3 months in clinical trials but may last significantly longer or shorter in individuals. You will begin to notice "movement" again around 8 weeks after treatment and another treatment is recommended at 12 weeks, to maintain optimal results.

Is There Any Down-Time and Do I Need to Do Anything After?

Essentially there is no down-time for this treatment! Many women and men have this procedure performed on there lunch hour and return to work.
Immediately after injection of XEOMIN you can expect small raised bumps or "wheels" (again similar to a tuberculosis test) that will resolve within about 15-30 min. You may have some slight redness around the injection sites. There is a risk of bruising as with any injection, especially if you are on blood thinners (anti-coagulants, or taking aspirin, ibuprofen, etc. or fish oil). However, if bruising occurs it is usually very minimal and resolves in a day or two and can be easily covered with make-up.
Post treatment instructions include remaining upright for at least 4 hours, no exercising for the remainder of that day (you may resume exercise the next day), no use of harsh exfoliants or Clarisonic brush, no facial, message, or laser treatment to the area that day.

Who Should Not Use XEOMIN?

Do NOT take XEOMIN if you are allergic to botulinum toxin or any of the other ingredients in XEOMIN, if you have had an allergic reaction to any other botulinum toxin product or have a skin infection at the planned injection sit.
